Maternity

I usually schedule maternity sessions between the 28th and 32nd weeks of pregnancy. This timeframe is based on my experience from past sessions. During these weeks, the baby bump is beautifully rounded and prominent enough to show well in photos, while common issues like swelling that often occur in the final weeks have usually not yet begun. This allows us to capture both comfort and that elegant curve of motherhood at its best.

That being said, every mother-to-be experiences a unique pregnancy journey. For this reason, I sometimes schedule sessions before the 28th week or after the 32nd. In fact, I’ve even done a few shoots just two days before the baby was born!

However, unless there’s a special circumstance and if the couple’s schedule allows, I prefer to schedule maternity sessions between the 28th and 32nd weeks.

I offer maternity sessions either in my specially prepared studio designed for mothers-to-be or outdoors in natural settings.

First, I’d like to share some information about studio sessions for you, our expecting mothers.

I schedule studio sessions twice a day — one in the morning and one in the afternoon. During the session, I welcome only the expecting mother and father into the studio to ensure a calm and focused atmosphere.

Expecting mothers are welcome to choose from dozens of maternity dresses available in the studio, depending on the package we’ve agreed upon. All dresses are carefully cleaned after each session.

While the expecting mother is, of course, the star of our session, I also include couple shots with the father-to-be for each outfit change.
